ohhh, poor elfgirl.. I would not want to have her go through what the character does (even acting ... of course her love of Josh could turn the table on that one... ;) )

HAHAHAH!!! trippy idea, Borat!

Don't think I'd like the Ron Jeremy pawing at me, but I'd definitely "grin and bare it" for Josh Holloway!

I always pictuted Nick with one scar (sideways) under each eye, she did do this scarring with a single blade, not her fingers or a small gardening tool...but that is just me...

Actually, xiomburg, if you read in "Forbidden Knowledge" SRD actually DESCRIBES Nick's scars - "three under the right eye, two under the left." He doesn't mention whether they're sideways or vertical.

If I was wielding a knife across cheekbones, I'd do vertical rather than horizontal cuts.

Nicks Scars

Post by DirectorDios »

I have to partially agree with Xiomburg, I knew there were 3 scars under Nick's eyes, but I always pictured them as being horizontal not vertical. I don't believe SRD ever makes mention one way or another. It would be interesting to know what SRD thinks of this minor, albeit intriging question. SRD always says he is not a "visual" person, but he would have at least had to have pictured in his mind at some point in time the appearance of the scars...wouldn't you think?

I picked up FK over the weekend & it states exactly what I said about the number of scars & location, but SRD says "angling under his eyes"...as a very visual person (designer/art-fart type that I am!) I read "angling" as diagonal rather than horizontal.

Sure, in degrees, minutes and seconds...

B'sides, horizontal scars would make Nick look like an extra from "Cats"...

Tell ya what - I'll do a Nick pic with scars angled both vertically and horizontally, we'll do a poll and sort it once and for all!

then we can relay the vote to SRD (with the pic) and get his consensus!
