Yes, but in both versions of the game, eventually we ended up having one evil god and 8-12 good gods. Even though the evil god was more powerful than any single good god, the good gods united were far more powerful than he was, and thus if they "ganged up" upon him they'd easily vanquish him.Vadhaka wrote:I don't see any way of avoiding it. As Murrin said, (and as Lore himself has said), if you play a villian bent on world domination, you have to expect the people who don't want to be dominated to gang up on you. Just like multiple "evil" deities could gang up on the "good" ones. *shrug*
I'm working on an idea I had which should keep things balanced so that players who choose to make a character from the "unfavored side" (who risk being the ONLY evil deity in a pantheon of good deities, for example) will not be penalized for doing so in the long run. But of course, suggestions are appreciated.
