Chicken Marengo - Napoleon's favorite.

Black burger.

Home made cannelloni filled with the classic "ragu alla bolognese".

Pork filet "Normandy" with creamy apple sauce.

Chow Mein Cantonese style.

Potato soup Berlin style.

Fried veggies with yoghurt sauce and eggs.

Fried veggies with grilled chicken kebabs.

Beef and eggplant Egypt style with Harissa.

Ossobuco and risotto alla Milanese. To die for.

Eggplant-avocado cream.

Marinated goat cheese with fermented walnuts.

Ragu d'anatra - Duck ragout with home made pasta Venetian style.

Today I took the planned over standing rib roast from New Year's Day, a planned over braised beef short rib, and about a pound and a half of raw top sirloin steak to combine in the crockpot for beef stroganoff. Serving atop Dreamfields rotini, which while not strictly keto, does not seem to interfere with my weight loss the way regular pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes would. A simple field green salad alongside, and call it good.

Have you reached your target weight Menolly? Or do you have a new target?
I have to say, amazing job. Impressive discipline .. an attribute I sorely lack

way to go you .. and the entire household.. as youve supported each other. Outstanding stuff

My apologies for the delay in answering, Sky. For some reason, the orange dot tree never showed me that post.
I had reached the short term goal for the reconstructive surgery, but I want to drop at least another 60 lbs., so there's a way to go yet.

Tonight is game night, so the group is dining out at a local bbq restaurant. Because I'm still eating carbs even though I've been back from Hawaii vacation for 11 days (WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I DOING?!?!?!), I plan to have barbeque nachos for supper.
I'll go back to low-carbing next week. That should be fun, since I'm also doing a dry February....

More power to you Dukkha .. sounds like quite a Feb.
I find it hard to imagine life without carbs .. Menolly do you get to eat carbs at all on Leto or is it allowed but limited.
I tell ya you guys are amazing in the discipline department.
Think Ill do a simple fry up for dinner tonight .. be nice to add a little je n ais se quoi

I am supposed to keep my net carb consumption to 20 grams of carbs or under on keto, and I think SD helps keep me in that ball park. But I do have the occasional carb load meal. Especially if sushi is involved.

Working on meatballs tonight. Been suing miso paste in the mix and it adds a really great salty element that no one can recognize haha

Mm, I'm a big fan of miso paste. Sometimes I just chuck a few spoons in a mug, add boiling water, and hey presto, miso soup.
