Found a bunch of free downloads of Office, including their new album Mecca, on last.fm. They have an 80s new wave type sound.

Neil Young, almost exclusively. Strange to think after a lifetime of obsessing music, I have never before delved into his stuff. Tomorrow I will search for guitar tabs

looking forward to it!

A really,
really intense vocal
Hearts of Space transmission...
Steven Hill, host and producer wrote:INTRO: The ancient practice of harmonic overtone singing has come down through the ages, sometimes as occult knowledge, sometimes in the mainstream of an exotic culture, sometimes as avant-garde experimentation — but always possessed of a quiet secret. Hidden within the human voice and the resonant cavities of the body is the ability to produce multiple harmonic tones; and within this, the possibility of spiritual absorption in a subtle realm of ethereal sound.
When recirculated on themselves in a reverberant sanctuary, voices and their overtones take on a psychic power that approaches magic.
On this transmission of Hearts of Space, we revisit the ghostly realm of harmonic singing, on a journey called TONES and OVERTONES.

Sir Adrian Boult's final 1979 recording of The Planets, conducting the London Philharmonic. It's supposedly one of the best versions out there. So far I think it's just all right. Mars was good, but the rest...I find the performance lacking. It doesn't measure up to Karajan's 1981 version with the Berliners, which to my ears remains the most awesome Planets on record.
