Actually, I have some family in Tx. 2nd cousin of my mom's (whose family I was much closer to) married a Texan and lives there...maybe in Houston, not sure. Die-hard Republican.

Well Houston is kind of big...

Hahaha, yeah, I'm aware.

I wasn't expecting you to know them or anything.

(I'm not one of those people.

)
I just don't know any better than that without emailing her and asking where exactly.

(Also come to think of it, she's actually
my second cousin, (first cousin of my mother).
Anyway, all good, if I'm ever in that neck of the woods, rest assured I'll look you up, for a beer if nothing else.
Otherwise, no news is good news, so everything must be fine.

Counting down to my leave.

Ah, that's why the Floyd reviews have slowed down
Hope work's not too painful, physically and mentally.

Started back to work on Sunday. We have 42 inmates left in the building. Chow takes between 5 and 1p minutes to run. Its surreal.

Up early, as I have my first substitute gig in a school since March. I'm skeptical that the gig is actually scheduled; I signed up for it on the official site, but I usually receive a reminder email the week of, and that hasn't happened.
I'm showing up at the building at the scheduled time ready to work (mask on!) anyway. We'll see what happens.

3 days of work went well. Fourth day engine on the truck seized up had to call in. It will cost a little over a grand to fix the engine. Its still in the shop. We have a loaner car for now.
Head doctor tomorrow. I've had this headache for a week now.

Holiday planning keeping everyone busy? This is as quiet a weekend as I've seen here on the Watch in awhile.

Well they are shipping all but two of the 40 inmates to their new units in the morning. The last two are leaving for home this week. I fed theast meal in the building last night. A day or two of cleaning up the kitchen then I start at the Trusty Camp for what has been promised to be at least a year.

Hope it goes well Sarge.
All fine my side, just lazy and bored and tired of everything.
Leave starts next week, not even excited for that now...

I'm putting in for a job at the prison cannery. Too much chaos at the job. I know 3 people who work there.
Headache for 3 weeks.

Well, technically I'm on leave now. Technically.
In practice however, still waiting for developers to sort some stuff out, so remaining available for now...meh...
