Yes, and I plan on going to it. (They have a club best & fairest and a league best & fairest...I have to go to the club one anyway, and I would like to see how many votes I don't get at the league. I got one last year. )

Could be worse I guess, some bugger drove into me on my way home on Friday, nothing serious, but insurance to claim from, repairs to organise, all that annoying real-life stuff. *sigh*

As long as all of the humans are OK. :( The rest is just annoying details.

I might finally take my computer in for its needed work tomorrow. So maybe I will be back later this week. Between being on vacation for over a week, then having my computer crap out on me, I feel like I have been completely out of touch with all of you. :(

Hope they do a good job fixing your computer, duchess. I'm starting my own vacation as of 6:00 pm Friday. :D

Av, I'm relieved that you survived another day on the road against all the insane drivers out there.

Sorry about the game, Seareach. I'm not sure who to be more afraid of: hockey dads or soccer moms. ;)

But the general stereotype goes that soccer mums are hot. So I think I'll stick to them. :P

Ah well, let's just hope it doesn't take another 32 years for Australia to get in the World Cup!

I guess I'm luckier than you, Av. My dad did all the 'fixer-upper' stuff on my car when I tailended somebody (THEIR fault I might add, but in our silly country, if a twit in front decides to slam their brakes on for no reason and you happen to be the poor sod behind em... - not sayin' that you caused YOUR accident, Av!!)

Anyhoo, it helped that my car was made of REAL metal. His was obviously cardboard the way the arse end folded up! My car had a couple of dents in the bumper and a headlight was squished in a bit, but that's all. His entire boot ended up in his back seat, and I BARELY TOUCHED HIM!!!BUAHAHAH!

that's what you get when you buy a Holden Gemini...

Glad you are alright, Avatar.

As for me, well my medication is helping my depression and anxiety ALOT. I'm less prone to misinterpret things (people's actions) now and enjoying being around people. But what is pleasing to me is the feedback I am receiving from my proofreaders - so a big thanks to those who are reading it! Your criticisms and positive comments are much appreciated!

Well, I took in my computer today to the repair place and it will take about TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!! to get it back. 8O 8O 8O 8O

So I will continue to not be around much...just a few moments here and there from work or the library. :(

Apprehensive. Going to the dentist today. Hate dentists (no offence to any KWers who are dentists!).

My girlfriend's going to the dentist in August and she's already cowering. Her first filling, no less.

I'm alright lately. Apprehensive, tense, but ok. There's some relief and excitement to balance out the less enjoyable parts. My drugs are helping too, so I feel overall somewhat healthier.

That's an illusion, though, since I've actually been getting flabbier. :-x

I am proud to say at the ripe old age of 32 I have no fillings...but I think that by this afternoon I might not have that to boast about anymore! <sigh>

I am in a great mood; very happy with my short story and have decided to purchase a microscope worth $1000 this week.
