i have him on yahoo but haven't been on there myself since i been playin wow so i doubt its a viable way to reach him.

I'm somewhat past worried at this point. He hasn't been around since, like, April.

His last posts at the Hangar also sounded pretty stressed out about work...hopefully he only is taking a break from the internets to reduce stress...

well...confession...i googled him once, long time ago, when we were playing scrabble every night. i think seareach and i had been threatening to turn up on his doorstep or something, just to tease him (cause you know how private he is, we were just havin him on, we wouldn't really have turned up) anyways, i googled him, just to see if i "could" find him.

i found a web site that might be his work. i've sent that info in a pm to
Avatar. ionno. i'm unsure if he'd want us looking for him or worrying after him or not. my gut inclination is to do something to find him and find out if he is okay but at the same time, if i know him at all in the least, he wouldn't want me to and i feel i should respect that.
well, as you see, i'm torn.
but boy do i HATE sittin on my hands and doing nothing when it seems like he's gone missing.

Luci, if you know his RL name, I think that's more than anybody else here knows. I know he's a really, really, really private guy, but I think we should reach out to him if we can. Just to make sure he's okay.

that is why i sent the info i had to Avatar in a pm. i told av in the pm that i'd be afraid it would scare the bejebus outa him if i tried to contact him!!

Thanks, Av. I really kind of don't care whether he doesn't want to come around any more for some reason. (I mean, I'd be sad, but that's his business, y'know?) I just want to know he's okay.

Same. No reply yet, but I know he shares his work PC with somebody, and isn't necessarily on it every day.

no luck. i get the company directory and when
i type in the name i get a "that is not a valid name" msg.



so much for my detective skills.

of course its always possible that was never him in the first place.

Ditto on missing MM.

He's not shown up around Glurpworld either so it's a clean sweep all around. I too am concerned something may have happened but it's certainly his choice if he actually doesn't want to be found or contacted.
Like many of us have done in the past he may return months from now with a full accounting of what had caused his absence and we'll all have a good laugh.

PS. MM if you read this don't think I've gotten all mushy and stuff. Like everyone else I just like having you around.

But it also makes sense if he left. Hit zero and get an operator, then ask whether anyone by that name has ever worked there. Maybe even ask for HR -- you might get a sympathetic person who could at least tell you whether we have the right name.

Or pm me the name and number, and I'll do it....
