That's a tough one, Cail. Sorry to hear it.

It's rather unusual to get new allergies once you've become an adult, ain't it? Maybe you've been exposed to too much of something on the job?
Actually I've learned that the opposite is true.
I never had allergies at all until about my mid twenties.
Then I "discovered" pollen.......
Allergist said it happens all the time, sadly.

Aye, we get people who pop in to DC without ever having had allergies before, they stay for a couple months and BAM, they're allergic to every sixth thing. aliantha had that happen to her.

Me day is iffy. I woke late, but then helped aliantha get the soaked carpet from the basement and managed to get my ankle to hurt a couple more times - which probably isn't helpingit any....

So, we had a bye in the footy yesterday. But I played under 17's. Lost by 80 or so points, but I got in the best players. :)

Also, a loss to the top team in the under 14 1/2's put us on top of the ladder by percentage. Hoorah!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarg. Heh. So tired. I should go to bed.

My advisor is looking over my thesis draft. 140 pages, 170 with appendices. 27000 words. I donno if that's a lot or not.

I hope I hope I hope he gets the draft back to me tomorrow, and I hope and hope and hope that he doesn't want me to do much more crap to it.

And hopefully, this thing will be done this week, so I can get it to my committee before Friday. I hope I hope.

And then I defend in two weeks................. Yay.......... Heh.

Please let this thing be over all ready! Heh.-jay

Ditto!! Mega brain juju flyin' out to ya, Genius!

I am recovering from a PARTYFUL weekend...too much beer, fun, spa'ing, loopiness, lack of sleep (thanks to a sleepover with Princess Chainsaw, the snorer from hell, and a hyper Jack Russell with a bell on its collar)

I'm at work to rest and recuperate!

I feel pretty freaking great. I aced my deadline by nine days.

But now I'm so adrenalized I can't get to sleep. Bah.

I am tired and I have a headache. I stayed too late last night watching a movie. Unfortunately the movie was a suckfest. I kept hoping it would get better, but it never did. I finally took it out with about three scenes left, put it back in its netflix envelope, and dropped it into the mail today. :)

But anyway, today I am tired and have a bad headache from staying up too late. I am hoping work tonight will be quiet because it is a major holiday. So far so good. :) 8)

I'm allergic to.....

-Cobalt Dichloride, which is in antiperspirant, among other things.

-Cl+Me-Isothiazolinone, which is in shampoos, detergents, lotions, OTC and prescription drugs, fabric softeners, and <gasp!> toilet paper.

-Quaternium-15, which is in every hygene product known to man, including suntan lotion.

-Formaldehyde, which is also in a staggering amount of hygene products, cleaning products, and a fair amount of building materials like plywood and insulation (which is a bitch, 'cause that's what I do for a living).

dAN, for a preview of what life with my wife would be like, take all your money out of your checking and savings accounts, then borrow a few thousand bucks. Take all that money to an empty parking lot and set it on fire. If you still want her after that, she's all yours.
You're allergic to a component of toilet paper? 8O :? :-x

How do I feel today? Well, I think this sums it up (thanks Madonna!):

I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
Please don't say you're sorry
I've heard it all before
And I can take care of myself
I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
Please don't say 'Forgive me'
I've seen it all before
And I can't take it anymore

You're not half the man you think you are
Save your words because you've gone too far
I've listened to your lies and all your stories (Listen to your stories)
You're not half the man you'd like to be

I have listen to this bloody song until it's given me a headache. And I'll continue to listen to it until I GROW UP and BELIEVE it!

Are your virus definitions up to date?

Anything else happening? Don't think it should cause you to get logged off, but can't say for sure.
