Um...er... Sure I do! It was... um... Mr. Somethingsomething Somethethingsomething.

(After some googling)

Ah, maybe this guy: C. Michael Foale

Hm...well, if it wasn't this guy, it was definitely one of these guys:

The important things though, are that he does exists, and that I did see him.

I feel really pissed off to be honest. I played a physical team sport at a competitive level for the first time in ages yesterday and I realise why i gave up in the first place. I was playing rugby football at stand off for my brothers team. I played pretty well but I forgot how bad a loser I am. I'm a pretty honest player on the pitch but the loss hit me so hard once the final whistle was blown. I feel like ripping someones head off.....and thats not good. And the worst of it is I usually go running when i feel stressed but I can't run because I have, what the doctor called a petechiae hematoma. In other words a great big bloody bruise that hurts like hell.

Not happy.

Feeling hungover today--I came home around midnight; Lis came home around 4am--she had to work at noon, the kids were up at six.
Not to mention that when I got into our vehicle this morning (which a fried of ours who wasn't drinking used to taxi pepople around in)-it reeked of liquor and had emties in it.
I was extremely PO'd--being a professional driver, If I happened to have gotten pulled over for any reason before I noticed the bottles-and even if it was proved that I was 100% sober-I would have lost my job.

When I first saw it was funny but then you look and see how horrible it is. How did he win the Golden Ball?

oh dear oh dear...you still pissed off about Neill screwing it up for Australia with that blatant 'go for the man not the ball' tactic which got us booted out? Tsk tsk...

The cut-off point for the judges was half-time in the Final. At that point he had scored a penalty, and was playing well.

I always thought soccer was a game for pansies.

It reminded me of Mortal combat.

Tired but mildly excited. I'm heading out on the road today for a trip to Chicago. Should arrive there on the 13th and stay approximately a week.

Have fun! Chicago is one of my favorite cities in all the world! :D They are having the King Tut exhibit at the Field Museum, and a kickass Leonardo da Vinci exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry. They have put together some small models of some of his inventions, and they let the visitors play with some of them.

I finally have my computer back from the repair place. But the rotters took it upon themselves to replace AOL version 7 (yes, it was cranky and old and difficult, but I knew it inside and out) and replace it with AOL version 9. Version 9 is different enough that it is like trying to learn a whole new program. :-x At least the computer is running quietly now - getting 3 1/2 years ofd cat hair (from three cats) cleaned out seems to have stopped the clunking sounds.
