Perhaps it is time to cast off all pretence, and speak to the truth of these matters. It is painfully clear to all that your husband is not the great creature he believes himself to be. Indeed, the same with me. I have never attempted to manipulate Love within the Hearts of any. The Bhakti's have always felt that Love should be freely chosen, or rejected, so I work in other ways.

However, I have lately been thinking along the lines of your unspecified threats. For example, the Darkheart removes all Love from whoever it touches. They would be left without passion or motivation, and would live a life of boredom, lacking in all accomplishments. Well, I have always had the power to do that. I could have done so to all evil deities' prophets. They would have a much more difficult time getting anything done if they had to get new prophets all the time. Or I could infect their followers with such Love and Passion that they never got out of bed. Again making it difficult for the deity to get things done.

Of course, if I did these kinds of things, I would be the evil one.
