Yes, it is available. I'm going to pick it up today.

I don't know about Australia, but here in the US the DVD set for the 2nd season is divided into two parts, Season 2.0 and 2.5. That's so the greedy bastards that produce DVD sets can suck even more money out of the consumer. HBO is particularly notorious for doing this (Season 6 of the Sopranos, Season 7 of Sex and the City, each divided and released in 2 parts.)

The other day I noticed another trend - the entire set for a particular series in 1 boxed set. For example, over the past year or so, I bought all 7 seasons of West Wing individually. Now the entire 7 seasons is available in 1 boxed set. Had I known the entire season would be available in 1 set, I could have waited another year and saved over 50%.

So, in other words, I'm waiting for BG to complete its run, then I'll buy it on DVD, in 1 set and save some cash (and also shelf space.)

And now I'm off my :soapbox:

They will be releasing all of season 2 in a set... soon. Don't remember the exact date, but probably in time for the holidays. It's a rather annoying trend. :?

Australia has always had the second series in one box set:

Wow, thanks for the link LM.

I take it you've used the ezydvd site before and found their service acceptable?

Actually, the half seasons, aren't the same price as the full seasons. Also, since there is a several month break in between 1st half and second half of the season, some people do want the first half of the season on disc, since there aren't reruns in the interim. So, while I'm sure their motives are certainly to make money, there is a consumer benefit to it as well. I am more annoyed by the "new improved special features" and "Even newer and more improved special features" trend, where every half year a better version of a movie comes out, personally.

LOVED that line as well! That character is one of the most fascinating I've ever seen. And the actor is a genius - I can't count how many different faces of Baltar we've seen, and he pulls them all off with the greatest of ease (usually going from one to the other without a noticable transition).

Dr Baltar is my favourite - so flawed yet so brilliant. Oh, and he is very funny.

Regarding tonight's epiosode Unfinished Business, I was probably the only person on Earth not spoiled
Spoiler
about what happened between Lee and Kara on New Caprica and to me it came as a huge shock and a little bit of an oh that explains loads of stuff
. So let's hear for staying non-spoiled, cause being spoiled would have like really spoiled the whole thing. And when did Kara start showing a tat on her arm?

Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down was great. As was the next one (about the Cylon asteroid).

You know you want to... :D

Unfinished Business (309) was pretty interesting. Makes more sense the second time you watch it - lots of scenes inserted that you have no (or little) idea about until it's pulled together at the end. But there's something there that they didn't explicitly cover...
Spoiler
I think Bill and Laura GOT BUSY! Hooyah!
I like the way Adama handled things. Self sacrifice.
Spoiler
I think Lee picked Helo as his partner because he knew he'd get his clock cleaned. Bill knew the same thing from the start of his match, but it had a point other than having someone pound away his pain.
I'm not a fan of (full contact) boxing, but it was appropriate for the episode. It worked perfectly - it couldn't have been any other way.
Spoiler
For an episode entirely devoid of the cylons - excluding Athena, of course - it was a pretty powerful episode. As I said, it seemed even more so the second time I watched it.
And who would have thought that they would have lawn furniture in their "rag tag fleet?" :-)

No, I was unspoiled as well.
Spoiler
The tats seem to be a marriage thing (at least the big one) because Sam has one as well. Definitely they got them after they setup home on New Caprica
Romeo, I was wondering about that myself. Maybe it didn't actually happen, but, certainly foreshadowing for the future, it it didn't actually happen.

Romeo, regarding your first spoiler, OMG. Absolutely those scenes have that sub-text, but if that's the actual plot, my head will explode. I picked up the subtext immediately when watching the scenes, but to see or hear someone actually say it, *pop* I think my brains just poped out my ear.

Sindatur, thanks for the tatoo information. Cause during the scenes I was like where those come from and I was pretty sure Katee Sackhoff has no tatoos.

In the last episode, whenever the Cylons said 'Jupiter', it was captioned as 'Zeus'. It always appeared to me that the humans were strongly influenced by Greek mythology and the Cylons by Roman, but it looks like a last-minute script change when the captioning doesn't match the dialogue.

Just a random thought...
