Battlestar Galactica vs. Imperial Star Destroyer?
Battlestar Galactica. Not because its a more powerful ship led by extrodinary humans but because its a matter star power. Galactica has imunity to descruction because she's the star of a show. Any random star destroyer is expendable. Hed you said a Star Destroyer in upon which Luke, Leia, Han and Chewie were being held captive well then......

Lady Galadriel vs. High Lord Elena?
Theres an almighty mud fight between Galdriel and Elena, in a pool of hurtloam, whereby both gets healed after each blow. Soon an assortment of males of all intelligent species crowd round, cheering and gambling. Humans, elves, hobbits, orcses, dwarves, giants, stonedowners, lords, healers, haruchai, ramen...
A whole city get built around the ongoing mud-fight with all the trappings of a sleazy city...
After a while a ceasure falls upon Mudfight City, sweeping everyone in its path, except for four who ducks into the mud at the very last moment.
The four emerges, muddy. The two males declare the mudfight a draw, and dedied that a beauty contest should settle the matter.
Both males voted for Galadriel, who being elven, is more beautiful even in hurtloam.
So there we have it, Galadriel wins.
Then the two males begins to fight over the right for her hand in marriage.
The two males are Frodo Baggins and Bannor.

Frodo against Bannor? Heh, I could resort to using the same rationale as aTOMiC: since Frodo is the star of LOTR, and Bannor isn't the star of TCTC, Frodo wins - though only with devious help from the One Ring.

Well, the Orb of Aldur being spherical can roll aound like a marble, while the Illearth stone can only gout green curved lightning at the oversized marble like badly spat snot. The orb deftly dodges the green gouts, and hits the Illearth Stone, so gains points as in a giant cosmic game of marble.
One of the creators, playing marbles, chuckles, "got you!" and takes both marbles into his collection.
