Thyddian: Because I did say so earlier. My parable merely illustrated my philosophy towards the rift.

So your philosophy towards the rift was that you are not wise enough to understand the problem, and you're giving power to your royal artist so he can deal with the rift?

Thyddian: My philosophy is that the artist showed the king that reality is illusion. The rift shows that reality is such. I am the artist and the artwork. I am wise enough to understand it, and admire it in many ways, but that my powers must be spent elsewhere which I have no desire to speak to you about.

Bretheren, these rifts threaten us constantly. We must perform some great work to shore up the sagging strength of reality. No sooner do we close a rift than another opens. As we ended the first demon rift by standing together, so must we work to guard against more.

I don't know about you, but these constant rifts are wearying me.

The fabric of reality must be sewn forever closed against these invaders from other planes. Who will join me in making further rifts impossible?

I must now regretfully withdraw myself from these concerns. For this moment, my power is fully occupied elsewhere. I do not wish to openly discuss these actions at this time - know only that I work to our mutual benefit.

Wi will fix the reality

Make those needs known to those of us whom you believe are best able to offer such aid Thyddian, and we will do all we are able.

I urge all of my brothers and sisters who can spare the power to aid us not only in closing the newest rift, but also in healing the fabric of reality that no more rifts to other realms may be opened.

I believe that while the majority of us work to close the rift, one or two of our number should pour our power into the fabric of reality itself - providing strenth and healing that a new rift does not open as soon as the old one is closed.

Argothoth, Avatar, Thyddian and I will be attending to this, and I am sure Amplarx will be defending his city from the demons - what say Bhakti, Elauradaneth, Solus or Toringian? And Solina, my love. Have you the power to spare to once and for all silence this threat against us all?

We should all be lucky enough to have such troubles. While severely mollified, his followers nearly doubled in number, and founded two more cities! Truly, this world is made for such as Nephirthos! *bows*

Wise words indeed Movahl, I applaud them. I fear that these two issues may need to be the priority for as many of us as can turn their hand to them.

Leave us not forget the beast whose slumbers our instability has disturbed. Reality must be sealed lest we awaken this dread creature at our great peril.

Pollen makes my followers go all loved up, I can only guess who did this? Maybe I should send my own pollen which gives me malice and chaos? I also got tired of just building in the far North, thought I would move about.

Yes, it seems that despite your earlier assurances, the North is not all that you want.

Regardless bretheren, I shall again offer up my power for the greater good. I shall make the attempt to seal the new rift. I hope that some of you will join me, and that others will bend their might toward strengthening the threatened fabric of our reality.

Brothers and sisters, I have spoken with Morgath, and I feel we have been mistaken. Yes, when Morgath and his kin suddenly appeared and made for my city, I assumed the worst. And though my city and its followers suffered greatly, can I honestly say that was the demons' intention? Can any of us say we have been intentionally or directly damaged by Morgath?

There are four rules to winning. Know the game, know your stake, know the risk, and know the reward. The first rule, gods. Do we think that just because we are deities we should be unencumberd by questions of where we came from or what came before us?

I can tell you this; we are not the first here. The elder gods have proven their folly. They are no longer here. And as Morgath has informed me, one of the ways of their folly was their war with the demons. As I understand it, a war they never welcomed. A war that was actually brought to them through the rifts.

Until we have a solid reason to think otherwise, I say we give Morgath the benefit of the doubt. As for myself, I extend my hand to Morgath and welcome him as my equal and my brother.

In the spirit of this good will, I have an announcement to make. As it has been three years since the beginning of our age, I propose a contest. By the beginning of the 16th turn, you must each select a mortal champion. They will all meet in neutral territory to compete. There, they will engage in several various contests. Archery, swordsmanship, jousting, running, swimming, conjuring, a contest of physical beauty, and a game of intellect.

To the god whose champion wins the most events, I will bestow a special prize. Good luck to all.

No Making Love event?! Bah!
