Amplarx waged war on my city unprovoked and stole it. How much fun is that?

And yet your contentment among your followers that remain is at a 6.
Deva had a...devastating Turn. Yet he remains at an 8 contentment.
Losing a city apparently doesn't necessarily affect followers enough to drop contentment as drastically as the AllFather described. It must involve something else a deity has done, or failed to do.

There's probably more to it than that. I mean, I lost a city and my contentment dropped. The I got it back but lost another and it stayed the same. Then I got back the second, and it stayed the same.

Ah...you are catching on quickly, milady.
j/k AllFather
From what little I have learned from players who have been willing to explain how games of this nature work to me over the past few months, there must be
something that determines it all, as Balon said. But beats me all to hell if I can figure out what the AllFather does.

Try being the god that had a city randomly hand itself over to him and some whining twat(the god not the player) persisted to moan about you stealing it, so you order them out, just to shut him up. I know they will hate the idea. I know I hate the idea. But the void being what it is, i cant just say, "Look, its not my fault your own worshipers turned their backs on you..."
So I expect to lose some

Wow!! I wonder if it's the one who just lost 13 Contentment. I wonder how happy this makes uKulwa. (Unless he's the one who just lost 13 Contentment.) I wonder how many deities Xar has to go. I wonder if the Yankees will ever win another game.

I won't tell you how many deities are still left, but I feel exceptionally generous today, so I'll tell you I've saved you for last...
