That's frightening image if "docs" is short for "doctors" as it is in my mind. But I think I've figured out what you mean.

Well, the car problem escalates. So they said there wasn't a leak up front last week when I brought my car in even though my garage floor says otherwise. So this "new" problem is something else, and will cost 3 times as much to fix, and that I can't drive on it as the clutch could go out, and on and on and suck. This is the second time this car fixer-upper has contradicted me about something I know is true (because his computer didn't find me). The first time was on whether or not I had been in before. So yes, they'll get my money this time, but I won't be returning.

I think I'll try the auto parts route for the next place I go to. Thanks for the tip Jenn.

Astonished, and slightly guilty. The relative who paid for my car repairs is also paying for my flight to the States. When questioned, her response was "I might not be here much longer, let me do things for you while I can".

8O but also

Wonderful news, CovJ! Don't feel guilty. It's a loving gesture, and she would just want you to have a wonderful time. :)

Mixed feelings.

Positive:
I had a great time and a much-needed multi-hour conversation with a friend over dinner, and then we went book shopping.

Negative:
I managed to put my foot in my mouth and possibly hurt someone that is important to me. I tried to apologize, but no response. :(
I have a migraine that's been building all day, and feel nauseous.
Spent more money on books than I should have.

I feel pretty good, though for some reason I cannot sleep, it doesn't seem to be bothering me.

Update on the battle to keep Isaiah here on the mountain with us...we WON!!! :D :D :D

The judge agreed that it was Isaiah's wishes to be laid to rest here on the mountain. His parents were furious of course. I tried to talk to them, but they are so narrow minded and full of hate that they just rattled off a bunch of curse words and walked away. Sigh....

Anyway, he will remain with us. :D

On another note. When walking down the steps to our basement i missed the last one, fell, and badly sprained my knee. So now I have to wear a leg brace and walk with crutches...it's not easy chasing down toddlers with crutches...

ah well...such is life!!

I always feel guilty when people do things for me or give me gifts. Character trait, I suppose.

This means, as you cunningly guessed, my "I can probably make it if I budget carefully" has been upgraded to "I'm there!" :D

I feel like shit. And think I'm probably going to have to move back in with my mom.

I feel the same way. I guess I'm in workaholic mode or something.

Now that is some misery. Shudder. Have you looked at... I don't know.... boxes? Or something? Camping?
You could try squatting, there are a lot of empty houses these days.

Plus: I got some good studying done today.

Minus: I have a lot more studying to do.

Plus: I am going to take time out this evening to go dancing.

This morning, I suspected I might be coming down with a cold. Since then, the back of my throat has swollen, and it's getting a little uncomfortable.

Have you gargled with some warm sea salt water, Murrin? It might help.

I can't decide whether you're being snide or not.

I feel mildly unwell. I have just discovered that Lemon Drops and (diet, caffeine-free) Mountain Dew is not a good combination for the digestive system. Either that, or dorm food is poisonous.

You just hit the nail on the head.

Woke up with the swelling down but spread more evenly between the two sides of my throat; have taken a Strepsil and it seems to be helping. I've developed a mild cough.
