The system requirements really aren't that bad. (Unless you're the type of person that has to be at 120 FPS with every setting on max in a 40-man raid.) My computer is 7+ years old and I don't expect (fingers crossed) to have any problems playing Legion. The only time I have lag/FPS issues is in 40-man content, and even then, it's usually just at the beginning of the encounter.

That said, everyone has different standards, and I know people who play who have issues I wouldn't tolerate. (Anything under 30FPS in a raid gives me a headache.)

I haven't played a Monk, so I can't really answer any specific questions. There is a Monk in my raid group who has filled every role at one point or another, much like a Druid could. (Though my own Druid-self is only good at non-melee Druiding.)

6.2.3 goes live on Tuesday. I'm happy that they are adding MgT to Timewalking, glad they aren't adding HoR, and irked that the LFR will be the only raid to give Valor.

So I (predictably and stupidly) used my 100-boost to make a Paladin.

First impression: *Holy Shock* *Opens spellbook* "I know there's another DPS spell in here somewhere, I just don't remember what it's called. Hold on, stop hitting me, I need to find my spells."

They give you a level 3 Garrison, which is nice. They give you some random buildings. I got a blacksmithing building. Pretty sure that's stereotyping. Not every paladin is a blacksmith.

They give you about 300 resources to start with, which the average Garrison-haver will recognize as Nowhere Near Enough.

They give you a level 2 lumber mill. They don't give you the ability to harvest timber, so I guess it's just decorative. One probably has to unlock the questline in Gorgrond or something first, but why not just give a trading post instead? I swapped it for a trading post.

I haven't played a Paladin since Wrath, and barely then. I have no idea what I'm doing. They warned me that choosing Holy as my starting spec was a bad idea, and I of course ignored that warning. The gear they give you to start is single-spec gear - the stats don't change. I'd gotten so much BoA plate gear from missions that I was joking about Blizzard wanting me to make a plate-wearer, and now I can't find any of it.

Should have just made a Druid, but too late now. This could be interesting.

Some of the new hunter pets for Legion are pretty cool.

And the Rainbow Generator is finally going to be a toy! I got in trouble at Pride one year (think it was 2010 or 2011) for accepting a duel from someone who wanted to use theirs. (Cross-faction Pride events have very strict anti-PvP rules.) Hopefully it will be usable on friendly targets.

What do you mean, going? Except for a brief stint as SV in the Naxx days, it's what I've always played.

Speaking of kittehs, the new feral druid forms are pretty cool. The troll versions (or at least what I assume to be the troll versions) are pretty garish, though.

Taunting would be the least of my worries.

"I'm out of range."
"That target is out of range."
"You need to get closer, idiot."
"Not enough rage."
"I need more rage!"

And last but not least, the healer in me saying, "It's hitting me, someone get it away from me!"

My Halloween decorations are still up.

Including the lit jack-o-lantern that spawned directly on one of my NPCs. I feel kinda bad about that; not sure if he doesn't have enough sense to move, or if it just doesn't bother him.

So glad I'm not a raid leader. We have people out on vacation this week, so we're pugging some (including a tank) and it's just been a revolving door of failure. Plus we're on a progression boss that we haven't actually downed yet...

Why does the Valentine's Day event start the day after Valentine's Day this year? It's usually the week before.

I may have to level a Demon Hunter just to get the mount. Shame it's class-specific. Don't they how awesome my hunter would look riding a Demonsaber?

They'll be starting at 98, so it might not be too bad, but I just can't play melee and I suspect I'll probably lose interest soon after leaving the starting zone. Death Knight 2.0.
