greetings all ye who lurk!
So we got the Lynne-ch mob and the...hmm...what to call my family?
Any other entire families on the Watch?
Hmm...Pam-demonium?
Ms. Mary's daughter Foamy posts sometimes. And aTOMic's daughter is ProRider. I dunno about anybody else...
Hey Jay -- this board's been around so long that we're into our second generation of Watchers! Think on that and be dismayed!

that is quite a scary thought. and now, I'm gonna go do some sudoku.

Second generation, nothing. My daughter was here almost from the beginning, when we were on EZBoard.
So she couldn't exactly be called second generation.

But does Ms. Mary's dh also post? Does aTOMiC's dw?
I think you and I are it as far as
entire family being Wathchers.

(so far)

Woo-hoo!
Grands are next!
Creator already has a start on that one.
He's promised his new Princess will join in on
Pantheon 12 someday.

You're right, of course. She's a Watcher from way back.

I was thinking in terms of family relationships.

Bustedviens is my oldest son.
But he struck around for only a short while.
(It was hard to visit anywhere on the web since he is an OTR truck driver.)

Hi all. I've been reading the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant since (can it be?) 1982. I was a young UH1 pilot and spent a lot of time in the woods. Bored stiff, I picked up a friend's copy of
Lord Foul's Bane. I hated it! I finished the book, threw it as far as it would go, and swore I'd never read another. Now I'm almost finished with
Fatal Revenant 26 years later.

I'm glad I found you people, so now maybe I can get some insight as to what it is all about! Who are these people, and what is the connection between The Land and our world? (BTW...an EH60 helicopter is a US Army Blackhawk equipped for Electronic Warfare, directional finding, interception, jamming radio transmissions). I retired from the Army in 1993. I currently work in a Pennsylvania State Prison [no, I'm not an inmate] as a media technician. I have two grown sons and two baby granddaughters, one from each son. I look forward to discussing the Chronicles.

I did as you, EH60DRIVER, about a year earlier on the first one I ever saw,
But I stayed with it..I was smitten from the beginning, and I dread to let this out...I have read all volumes 5 or more times and studied some even more..,.. except Runes...3 times..and Fatal..3 times..and have just started back through them all starting where it all began, With..Lord Fouls Bane...never a bane for me
I fear however, not surviving long enough for the last two volumes...I will mention, I NEVER connected on the other Donaldson volumes...not one...and I did try...
My Regards to all, John also ellll

Sudoku is EVIL!!! It must have been invented by Lord Foul to destroy the land!

I can't do them.

. I've tried, my brain doesn't work like that.

Eh, I found the easy ones pretty easy. They do get harder as you progress, though.

Speaking of Sudoku, welcome to my friend Shara_lunison, who has never read a book by SRD, but kept seeing me play Sudoku, and decided to join so she could try to beat my score. (fat chance of that!)
Its only a matter of time before we make her a fan of SRD though...

XP to you too Magic Maker. ^_^
And I shall probably borrow one of said books from your sister... as soon as I have time to read it. ^^;

OMG, the Otaku are invading! Hi, shara_lunison!
And when you start reading SRD's works, be sure to encourage Magickmaker to finally finish the first Covenant book....
