Well, could be any of us. I'm sure we all take things for granted. I just have a bad feeling...
Ok, I have a question specifically for you, Bhakti... when do you think will it ever happen that your Prophet, your Forestals and a group of yekiths worshiping Melirelle will stand together against a common threat?
End of the world? What do you say?

*muses to self*
...Pantheon 1.0...cracking of Eiran...end of Game...
Nephirthos...
...Pantheon 2.4...Chastus'
only known thought that I found...a whisper of the name...
Nephirthos...AllFather cryptic hint of End of the world...
damn...damn...damn...damn...
I checked ... Nephiros was a measly 5 DRP god BEFORE he was brought low!! Many Pantheon Gods can take him! Argothoth can beat him with one bony hand tied behind his back!!
Must be something else ...

Yes, but the DRP/power stolen by Chastus' in his battles with other deities must have gone somewhere...
However, I hope you are right.

4 prophets dead?
Holy cow! *sigh* Looks like I will have to get yet another prophet.

It's most likely going towards resurrecting Nephirthos. If you have followers being slaughtered in your cities by unknown assailants, usually dressed up as priests, that's also probably Neffie's cult.
I should've mentioned this earlier, and for that I apologize, but it's probably worth your efforts to require some kind of devotion ceremony from your followers of any important rank. I did so on the last turn, and a handful were captured. Unfortunately, they all inexplicably died soon after, so I can't say with any certainty for whom they were working.

I didn't say 4 Prophets died... I said 4 between Prophets and Important Worshipers died. But they all died bravely. Oh, and the tally stands at 5 now.

Ah.
Well, I still don't think my chances are good since I am prone to losing my prophets.

But you have two now... you have a spare

Such is my own fear...

I have not heard of such practices. But I think having lands on the originally deserted continent of Immeril shields me from much. It would take a very organized effort for followers of someone bent on causing trouble to travel across the great waters just to do so.

Do you mean by having a devotion ceremony you fleshed out those who were false?
Being Jewish myself, the concept of "church" heirarchy is beyond me...

I know you told me otherwise, but are you
sure I am not responsible for all of this? Why else should all of this occur at once?
...two or three more days...you can wait...

Crap! It's getting to the point where no one will
want to be my prophet because it is a guarantee of a short life span!

Sister...
Do
any of our prophets have a choice on if they
want to be such?

I have got to tear myself away from focusing on this. I'm only up to page 36 of Deathly Hallows and moderating the JKR forum is getting more and more difficult while trying not to spoil the book for me.
With any luck I'll get drawn in to the story as I have in the past, and being as slow a reader as I am, perhaps Turn results will be sent by the time I'm through...

I'm sorry, there must have been some misunderstanding... I never said your actions didn't trigger anything, I just said there are worse things to worry about now than whether your actions accidentally caused all this or not.

"All died bravely". Hmm.
Are you suggesting all the deaths are connected, Xar? And perhaps leading use to assume it's related to whatever big disaster is occuring, when I suspect its actually going to be a seperate thing.
...I'm wondering if I should have required that oath from Melirelle after all.
Edot: anyhow, looking through my actions again I'm pretty sure that there's not much chance anything I did could have caused major disaster. Local disasters, yes, personal harm, yes, the war on Olaern almost certainly, but none of this end-of-the-world stuff seems likely to be my fault.

Anymore cryptic hints, AllFather? Perhaps even a tiny bit of good things happening?

Isn't this something like the Last Supper? "Is it me? Am I the one who will betray you??"
