Send our best wishes to her Sgt. And don't listen to them...enjoy a bit of laziness.

Bummer Spring.

And sorry to hear it Lore...hope things look up again soon.

Public holiday tomorrow, so I'm glad of the day off. Only downside is that the GF wants to do something instead of letting me laze around all day. *sigh* Can't win. ;)

Hi everyone! (sorry I've been away... being busy + KW errors = me getting lots and lots done)

I am super tired today. I was up till like 2 last night doing karaoke with friends, then Roommate's Cat decided to wake me up during my precious 4 hours of sleep. I may have punched the damn thing in the head... or I just thought about it. Probably the latter since I don't generally go around punching small animals in the head, even if they are trying to escape from my room by scratching a hole in my window screen.

Anywhoo, I'll be ok once I get home and sleep. :D

Good luck, Luci!

Erm, I'm pretty good today, actually. I survived the Girl Scout backpacking training trip weekend before last (speaking of needing to drop some weight before I try anything *that* athletic again -- holy cow!). And then yesterday, I bowed out of a project that I've been uninspired about for, like, a year: finding a new publisher for our out-of-print book, and once that's done, rewriting the text to update it. I wrote the first draft for my anthology submission over the weekend, and that got me to thinking about how much I miss writing fiction and how much I was dreading the rewrite of the marketing stuff for the book, to say nothing of updating the actual text. So...I quit the project. Feelin' strong now....

I had a cool one when I got my knee reconstruction in Canada in 2000 - he was pretty good with my video camera (I had a spinal so I was awake for the whole thing...and got my anaethesiologist to video some of my op. He got creative and photographed the sunset on the mountains as well!)

You can always ask them to remove any 'unnecessary' stuff while they're at it...I would definitely ask about slicing some extra blubber off my belly if I was going under the knife! Cheaper than a plastic surgeon, and one cut does it all!

Anyways, I'm sure everything will be fine, chickadee! |G
