Come now, Kai. Turn that frown upside down! Why must games always be about pain?

Rules updated to add a section on Divine Artifacts (can't believe you guys let me leave that out). You may find the information... rewarding.

The Autarch wrote:The only exception is if you permanently modify the divine artifact. By spending five times the amount of DSP that it would take to charge the divine artifact for an action in one turn, you can augment it. This augmentation lasts as long as the divine artifact does. You may only do this twice, once when your combined P/S/R equals 5 or more, the second when it reaches 10 or more. Before the 5.0 mark, the first DSP put towards augmenting the divine artifact will give it a slight boost in that direction.
Ooo...
Does this go for artifacts given as prizes in contests?
Not that I have any different ideas than already discussed in mind...

Krinn is already up to three, bee-yotch! Murder is quite lucerative, it seems.

  • FACE!
Also, mad props to Isaiah. Great idea playing the former prophet of your own character. I love the continuity there.

What are the chances that he'll come back fully rested and ready to work?

I hadn't noticed we can't Goodpost here. If we could, you'd have one.

I'm back.

And what is this 'work' you speak of?

Oh that's right. We're not waiting on you to finish turn results. Unlike SOME meta-deities I would probably do well not to mention here, for fear of petty reprisals.

The Autarch even got the turn out early this time...

So, an interesting side effect of the Autarch's requirement that we post all (but one) non-DSP action into the game thread ourself is that I find myself unwilling to commit to an action by posting most anything before I've submitted it in my turn, and the deeadline has already hit. If I post before the rest have had a chance to act, someone might alter her action based on my post... that leaves me vulnerable, slightly.

Not meaning that as a criticism, just thinking that this will case most IC posts to be done right after the beginning of the month, followed by weeks of near-silence and private conversations between deities.

Which is weird, because in those other games... I would run the same risk that anything I post before a turn deadline could be used against me by a hostile player. I really cannot justify why the requirement that I post some things myself would make me less likely to post non-mandatory role-playing stuff at other times, but there you go.

Nyx's player has just as much weird emotional baggage as she does.

Hmm. I suppose I can allow the non-DSP actions to be split up over multiple posts. They still have to follow a central theme or storyline, though.
