Hey everyone. I just joined in after finishing the Fatal Revenant.

I always liked the Covenant series (and Donaldson's other stories as well). Very dark and angsty yet still poetic in their descriptions of beauty and dedication to its preservation. I went into the chapter discussions' section and they look enthralling.

Greetings fellow SRD fans. I just finished reading Fatal Revenant last night. Wow!!! I'd read the original series years ago and I wasn't sure at first if I could get into the series when I started reading Runes of the Earth last week. I remembered that I'd really enjoyed SRD's intense writing style, as I've also read the 'Gap' series and the Mordant's Need series. I knew that the plot would be extremely complex and confusing because it had been a long time since I'd read the first two chronicles,

but by the time I'd gotten to the part where Linden secured the Staff of Law in 'Runes', I found myself hooked again.
Now, I'm going to go back and re-read the original six books. It's great to see that there's a website for this.

Vain edit: Please use spoiler code for anything related to Runes and Fatal Revenant :) We have specific forums for them. Great to have you on board

Evan, Vain simply put a spoiler mask on the part that is relevant. You can read what was under it by clicking and dragging your mouse over the darkened text. You will find this handy utility at the top of your reply post, under "spoiler"--on the far right hand side of the tags list. Just pm me or another mod if you need help in figuring it out! :D
