well i never been to spain
but i kinda like the music...
wooo hoodey tell all!!

Spain was fantabulous. It rained in Seville while I was there (so no, Damelon, it *doesn't* just rain on the plain

Granada was packed with backpacking kids

The Moorish baths were THE BEST. Imagine, if you will: a space lit by candlelight...three still pools, one warm as bathwater, one warm as a hot tub, and one cold (so if you get overheated in the hot pool, you can dunk in the cold pool and go back)...lovely Middle-Eastern-ish music playing softly...cute boy masseuses (sp?)...*no* little kids playing Marco Polo...and "mint tea" that's basically warm, mint-flavored sugar syrup. Oh baby. We *need* these here in the States. I may have to go into bidness.

Madrid was big-city cool. Lotsa museums. And the royal palace was pretty cool, too. One room has porcelain walls -- no kidding. And I think I may have drooled on the display cases for the matched Stradivarius quartet (two violins, one viola and one cello). I also saw a flamenco show and ate paella and drank sangria and shopped. And nobody laughed when I tried to communicate in Spanish. So it was pretty much perfect.
