We did have an intro thread in General Discussion, but I looked at it last night and it's really dated.

As this is the place for "hello's", I happily offer one to the group. I'm new to the list, but have been reading the chronicles since '79. I grew up with them, in fact. Now, discussion, discussion ... whereto for discussion?

Too true. I cannot count the number of times I've come here "for just a few minutes" before bed, only to glance at the clock and see that it's 4am.
