My eye 'sploded. Not quite sure what happened, but yesterday my right eye on the right side of my eye filled up with blood. Not wearing contacts today, and feeling very self-conscious since my glasses are several years old, and I pretty much only wear them at times like these.

I think it is just a burst blood vessel. I have them every now and again. I think it's from wearing contacts. Hurts though, and is especially unpleasant.

That once happened to me after violently vomiting up about 14 shots of Jagermiester. Was Jager involved?

Sorry to hear about your eye, Cag. That happened to me once, and it was no fun.

No Jager, no vomiting, nothing fun - just pain. But mild pain. I just want the nastiness to clear up because I don't like wearing my glasses. The part that wraps around my ear on one side is broken to where it just touches my ear, while the other side is fine, which put it off kilter a bit. And they are big and round and a little Harry Potter like, which is odd as I bought them possibly before Harry Potter came out. And the prescription is off too. It is way past time for a new pair of glasses, and something I hope to remedy one of these days soon. But for now, I feel grody with them on.

I feel your pain, Cagbro. I used to hate wearing my glasses too but I bought a new pair of glasses two years ago and for the first time in my life I LIKE wearing them. I've been a four eyed wonder since second grade so my glasses are coke bottle thick but this latest pair is super thin lensed and makes me look like a hot librarian. Prior to this pair I would not even go out in public with my old ones on. However, the good pair did cost me close to a grand between frames and ultra thin lenses.

I feel awkwardly disappointed. I have this tendency to not be able to keep things alive for more than an hour or so, so when I was assigned to watch seeds germinate for my bio class, I expected them to all get moldy instead of growing. I was wrong. Out of 20 seeds that I started watering on Monday, 18 have begun to sprout. I have failed to live down to my expectations... and now I have to actually record data on them, make drawings of how they change, etc.

I'm exhausted. Been busy, busy, busy. I'm now watching a 6 year old and a 9 month old all day in addition to my 17 month old son. Oi vey! Some days I just can't keep up.

Feeling good. Just back from a 5-hour hike in the Mtamvuna river gorge. Was awesome.

I feel relieved. I thought I had lost my cell phone on the bus but it turns out that it fell out of my pocket in a customer's car. She's bringing it back to me this morning.

Hopefully in the front seat, otherwise I'd be suspicious if I was the customer.
And Seareach....I've never seen a goose drunk before. What is that like? I don't get the analogy.

I have been having difficulty sleeping lately. Woke up after having a nightmare.
Anyway, chatting to some watchers is always a good way to start the day.

My advice to you, again, Lore would be to do something illegal-so I'll refrain.

On the other "hand" one really might get giddy from
receiving a goose...
