Besides the obvious snake angle, a few enquiries directed at Xar about them piqued my interest severely. They are new to P3, which makes them something of a blank slate for me to do what I will with. There are also other reasons which will remain unsaid.Menolly wrote: ...whoa...

Absolutely! Same with me and Tree Elders. Xar let's us make lots of decisions about them. It doesn't look that way to me. They are peace-lovers. There doesn't seem to be Malice in them. Bhakti's final gift was to Unbind himself, and have his essence flow into the Love Maples that he had created many turns previously, and pumped up with another drp a few turns later. ) Possibly, but Nor Yekith engineered the Satyrs. His main plan was to develop species and many of them weren't mutated to have malice. Also, they have a great affinity for forests and jungles, and can command trees. Although we don't yet know what Eiran looks like at the beginning of P3, I suspect the forests and jungles will be closer in nature to Shakari than to the forest Nor Yekith mutated in Nor Pupae, so things with affinity for them are more likely from Bhakti than from Nor Yekith.
