I think hurtloam is the only found in nature; used without art?

Marrowmeld is the only one used purely as art?

no, Kins. Not what I'm looking for. I don't think clingor had anything to do with art.
And I am not Joan: Very cool answer! But not what I wanted. :)

As far as we know, Earthpower doesn't have anything to do with clingor. (or Max Klingor, for that matter.)

marrowmeld the one thing TC doesn't touch directly? :?

Marrowmeld is an art - the others are objects.

I don't think TC ever sees gildenlode, just hears about it.

Yes he does - Foamfollower's boat in LFB had a Gildenlode rudder.

clingor
marrowmeld
graveling
gildenlode
ok clingor - adhesive leather
hutloam - healing substance found in mud
marrow meld - bone sculpting
graveling - fire stones
gilden lode - powerful wood .. made from gilden trees.

and the hint is LA and vain ;) mmm ..

i'm thinking marrow-meld is the odd one out .. cos it isnt a direct element of earth power .. it is a craft ..

the others are substances .. found in the earth ..

power mud, clever leather <may not serve this rationale well but> ;) , power stones and power wood.

there is no inherent power in a marrow meld .. being a craft ..

ok i give up .. cos i cant find any connection between the marrow meld and LA & vain ;)

:(

ooooh i just thought of something even cooler and it fits into my above rationale!!

lol ;) .. hows this for pure brilliance???? ;)

LA .. kind of made a marrow-meld .. analogically speaking .. with Vain and Findail .. lol ..

There was no Hurtloam in the second chrons (yes, I know, there wasn't Gildenlode either, but there was Gilden)?

Vain stuck to Linden like clingor to a saddle!
