Welcome to all the new players.
I am guessing Lucretia means she will be inserted in to the Giovanni storyline when she said she is replacing Lucien? And when she says that things will stay the same other than a new master and a change of gender, she means she is also as mad as Lucien was, as well as the same clan affiliation?
I truly am attempting to follow all of the storylines, but will admit I am now totally and utterly lost regarding the various Vienna threads...

She means Lucien is being wholly replaced with her presence, with all trace of his being erased, excepting he is now fulfilling a new role. Their clans are the same and no longer does the one who slays a myriad of goats hide behind the curtain.
The Singer is mostly correct, only she remains in the beautiful demesne of the ancient Celts and not the lands of the Necromancers.

Thank you for responding, Lucretia.
Though I will admit most of your response still soars over my head.
Play and learn, I guess...

Again, and you think
you're confused...

If I'm following it right, there is an NPC Lucien in Vienna. Lucretia is replacing Lucien in the hierarchy of Vienna. Replace "Lucretia" in all places it says "Lucien".
Unless our merry little band of chaos bringers goes to Vienna, the 2 "groups" may not cross paths.

Since the crazy lady needs a translator, she is talking to Andrius the White. She's replacing Lucien as Taduz suggested, whom GK hasn't gone back and edited yet. Lucien-now-Lucretia was last seen standing with Andrius and Luigi, whom are kinda-sorta but not really clanmates.
She is not all that new to the city, but is still young enough to be considered a neonate under the auspices of The Doktor.

Coolio. Makes it easier for me.

And, of course, there were no Celts in Austria. These are the descendants of the Visigoths. The Celts were farther west of here.
Apologies for missing my post on Friday. This weekend is the end of my being gone / busy frequently, so I should be able to get back on a regular schedule vs. the game. Thanks everybody for their patience. I'll wait until tomorrow to post, so that we can start back on track. Today, I've replaced Lucien with Lucretia, and updated the "New Players Here" thread to include the new Vienna threads that were created.
Any volunteers to start transcribing the Werewolf rules? There's bonus stuff in it for anyone who does. I'll get started with some basics, but I'll especially need help with all of the many many Gifts they have. Plus fetishes. Lots and lots of fetishes.

This could be settled by a view of the wiki, much as the city once was.
She is willing to consider helping the slayer of myriad bovidae. Scribing is something of her forté. Perhaps fetishes as well.

- It would seem to me
That Taduz has already
Started on the gifts.
Also will we need: totems, fetishes, and rites. If to do the fetishes Lucretia wishes, certainly welcome to them is she. Shinies will there be in it for her. Certain of this, the goatkiller is. Mmm?
According to
this, the celts were booted out of there in the 1st century AD by the Romans. To be replaced in the 5th century by Franks, Vandals, Goths, and other Germanic and Slavic tribes.
No Celts. Not for a long time. I win. Neener neener neener.

"Booted out" usually means "taken over" in historical terms. I doubt they got rid of all the populace. Maybe shuffled them around a bit, knowing the Romans.
The name of my home duchy of Carinthia is also thought to be Celtic in origin. There's been a lot of co-mingling over the centuries.

It was a Roman outpost, not a city. They probably didn't want locals.

...I've been back on for a while, but explaining in character why I haven't done anything...
...And I don't want to just go ahead and talk as though nothing has happened...

With how long it takes to handle combat, your absence was something like 2 min of game time. I don't see much of an issue with Gedeminas not having spoken during the violent (and faster-than-humanly-possible) destruction of three vampires.
Also, I forgot to post experience. My bad.

Nobody reading my mind.
Or scratching my ears.

I really need to start re-reading the thread before I post. I forgot that Andrius is a Lasombra.

Well, I can't find an avatar that I like right now, which makes me feel kind of naked on a forum, but ignoring that, I'm kind of interested in joining if there's room. I have played Vampire Dark Ages and the Masquerade in a tabletop game a few years ago, I really really enjoy the dark ages setting and it's incredibly difficult to find people who a) know what it is and b) are interested in getting together once a week to play it.
I've been reading through the existing threads for the last few days, and I like the way it's run. I finally decided to register this afternoon and started reading the main "new users read this" threads in the main forums and realized that the forums as a whole isn't...well...I've never read any of Stephen R Donaldson's books. Hopefully nobody will hold it against me, lol.

Gediminas, I'm a little confused about which death you're talking about, and not sure if you're intending to ask Sabine or Seska.
The brief rundown:
- Sires appear. Brief chat. Taduz bows to Gabrin. Sabine glares at Wenclas, who bursts into flame. She then claws him, doing enough to kill him. [Is this the one you mean?]
- Olaf turns frosty and beats Marchettus down, a few times, finally latching on to drink him dry, which finishes him off. [This one was obvious.]
- Sabine goes after Gabrin. They start biting each other, at which point I, concerned for Sabine, hold them both. Taduz moves Sabine to the table, although Seska exhibited enhanced strength moving her back. She does some heavy snogging with Gabrin as far as anyone can tell. When he turns to dust her tongue is out, but then she was getting rather hot and heavy with him. (Everyone has seen her extend the tongue. Sabine is the only one who knows she can use it to feed. I don't think anyone has seen her use it to do damage.) [While the Sires know enough to guess, the exact circumstances might make the PCs wonder -- or was it this one you meant?]

Who's that guy? This site is about some author named Kevin. I haven't read any of his stuff either, though.
Other than that, you're welcome to join. Check out the "New Players" thread, of course. Send me a PM or email (goatkiller666 at christ is my bitch dot com) with your character idea / character sheet, and we'll get stuff all sorted out.
I'll add your account to the hidden Rules forum as well, so you can get started. (Though, if you have any of the actual books, you can feel free to expand your options with them.)

Seven, would you like the honors?
