To right looks funny. I know it's not what happened, but it looks like you repeatedly made the same wrong guesses for the 2nd and 5th letters, then just got the word

That's what my " Holy cow!" was for.
I had guessed so many letters getting everything else that it might have been the only possible word with what was left. Crazy!

I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. For the first three guesses I was just trying to get the five vowels and common letters out there. Then start to work with what I have.
Then again Quordle might make me humble tomorrow if I try it.

Try Damelon’s (and Fist’s, and mine now
) approach of using all the vowels and as many consonants as possible in the first 3 guesses. Then you have something to work with.
