after leaving the Rocking B, jake and Roland are riding along and jake asks Roland if he can speak to him.

how does Jake want to speak to Roland, what does it mean, and what did jake want to speak about.

I suffer from only havinbg read WotC, SoS, and the DT only once apiece.... I cannot recall it, though Dinky the breaker comes to mind.

I did say what other book...and surely that's enough to tell you that it's a character that appears inboth DT and the other book. And yeah, it's an early book. :D C'mon folks, I'm giving it to you. ;)
