And here I just have to say that I managed NOT to run into a moose last saturday when I was out running. But it was very close...
Good thing that I do not know if anyone but me have heard about: Tom Lehrer! He has a rather big fanclub in Uppsala (strangely enough a lot of folk suddenly all went around humming and singing Tom Lehrer). As I am a folk-music person myself, I love his intro to the Irish Ballad:
Code: Select all
... these are the people who think singing 50 verses of "On top of old Smokey" is twice as enjoyable as singing 25... ...and since this is a very good song for group singing, I would like all of you who feel like joining in with me to LEAVE, right now...

On the opposite end of the seasonal scale, the grass is greening up and the annuals are blooming, the birds are chirping and the bees are buzzing.......almost sounds like a song.

Yes, a few days each spring you can almost see the Land. I call that green "Land-green".

I love it when the little crocuses and very early spring flowers come up and bloom in the snow. That is always lovely.

Ylva, I was thinking that very thought today. Today would have been one of the more brilliant days I have experienced in quite a while. We've had a fair bit of rain the last 2 weeks and today was the first sunny day we've had. Its amazing how crystal clear the sky and everything looks straight after rain.

Ylva, if you like to cook, there's a bottled sauce I hope you can find in your neck of the woods. 'A taste of Thai' is the brand name it it is delightful!

I think I have heard of that brand, have not seen it in my local shop however. I will certanly try it if I see it. Otherwise I can make a decent green curry chicken from scratch... YumYum...
