I watched it for a bit, but this was about 15 years ago. Really liked Jack. Couldn't bear Jennifer.

I feel awesome. Jorge the building super was just here to make sure there was enough room to get the old stove out and the new stove in tomorrow and he walks in to my apartment and he says, "Wow it looks great in here." Then he saw the high shelves I put up along the wall and says, "Those shelves are great! Who put them up for you? What a great idea!" and I said, "I put them up myself, it was a bit tricky but I think they look good." Then he turned to me and said, "All by yourself? That's great. What a smart idea and they look so good." I said, "Thanks. I think I did pretty good at matching the paint to so they blend in really well." He said, "Yeah, it's perfect. I think I might do the same thing in MY apartment. You are very good with decorating."

Now I feel all warm and fuzzy and proud of myself. He did say he can't do anything with the broken kitchen drawers. I might have to try to fix that on my own. He also said the plumber was going to be here tomorrow to fix the shower thingy that turns it from bath to shower. My place may be all fixed up tomorrow except for those drawers. That makes me grin.

Awesome, Jenn! I can't wait to see your snazzy place! :D

I think I forgot to announce it, but I started my new job this week, so yay for that! Also, I have a verbal contract on an apartment (duplex), and I meet with the landlords on Thursday to put a deposit down. :D

I think my place will also be a "diamond in the rough." It's a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, but it has a huge living room/dining room, a small laundry room, and even comes with a carport, a small storage shed, and even a back yard that is all my own! Whee!

I move in next Friday, I think. :D

Congrats, Lyr! Hooray for being gainfully employed and having a place to live!

Geez....get a room you two...

Oh, and for those reading at home, I have it on good authority from at least one other tenant in the building that Jorge does not actually exist, but is another one of Jenn's "personalities."

So yeah, Jenn...if that's who I'm speaking to now...good luck with your new apartment!

A roll of the dice, my friend...a roll of the dice. Hopefully it won't be Stabby. You don't want Stabby to emerge at 2am just as you are entering the REM cycle. Nothing like waking up to Stabby standing over your bed with a pair of well honed pinking shears. The doctors have a hard time stitching up that pattern.

As Jenn's adopted twin brother, it is something that affects the entire family. We love her, and because of that, we just can't bring it upon ourself to commit her. But if another person ends up with a zigzag scar, we might have to do so.

I feel annoyed today. I had to go to the GP for a review of my medication, which is fine and perfectly routine, but this time I got a locum GP. Not inherently a bad thing, though almost every locum I've ever had has been sub-par. What annoyed me was that this particular one, despite being a GP (and thus possessing knowledge that's broad rather than in-depth) and new to this practice felt, after a thirty second glance at my file, that she knew enough to tell me to stop taking my medication - which, I might add, my specialist (who is, as the title suggests, a specialist in this field and who dealt with my case for months) instructed me to keep taking until further notice.

Grrr. If I was someone more easily influenced, maybe very elderly or something, this dozy bint could have caused me serious health problems. Irresponsible doctoring by people who don't know what they're talking about is irksome.

I am giving official word that I will be using the term "dozy bint" 5 times today. I'm not sure where I will use it, but just giving the official notice now.
I love that term so much that I want to take it back behind the middle school and get it pregnant (which is my last phrase that I had a required amount of times I had to say it).

Ha! Jorge is REAL! He's a total nutter. The first time I met him to look at the apartment he stopped in mid sentence and ran out the front door to yell at some crackheads to not leave any garbage out front. It was like something you see on a bad sitcom. :P

Cag, I saw the hypnotist and Stabby hasn't emerged in over a year. However I'm still having issues with Bitey. ;)

Good to hear Stabby hasn't been around. We are all concerned about you, and are happy to hear you are doing better.

And at least with Bitey, all we need to do is flip you on the nose and you will let go.
