Since it is now after midnight in your timezone:
Happy Birthday, Aliantha!!
Next year we can start taking advantage of certain discounts...but treasure this last year before that status kicks in!

Yeah baby, discounts!
And as long as Congress doesn't screw around with Social Security within the next three weeks, I'm all set.

The warden threw a party in the county jail
The prison band was there and they began to wail.
The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing
You should've heard those knocked out jailbirds sing...
The #1 Song On Your Birth Date was...
Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley
Enjoy *your* day!
And Happy Birthday, Dromond! To find your birthday song, I need to know your year of birth...

Got it!
Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear
And it shows them pearly white
Just a jackknife has old MacHeath, babe
And he keeps it … ah … out of sight.
The #1 Song On Your Birth Date was...
Mack The Knife by Bobby Darin

Just how old are you?

Let me quote a phrase:
"Old enough to know better
Young 'nuff not to care"

What DPJ said.
I'm 54 now. When they were talking about changing Social Security, they were saying they'd grandfather people 55-and-up into the current system. I figure the gummint will treat that the way the IRS treats age-related rules -- you qualify if you turn that age in that year. So, after 1/1/12, I should be okay.

(Whether I *want* them to change the Social Security rules would be a Tank discussion, so I won't get into it here...)

Dare I say it?
You're just a baby.

Happy birthday, Ali!
Sorry I'm late. I rarely check this thread unless someone mentions something in General.

Dominique -nique -nique s'en allait tout simplement,
Routier, pauvre et chantant.
En tous chemins, en tous lieux,'
Il ne parle que du Bon Dieu,
Il ne parle que du Bon Dieu.
The #1 Song On Your Birth Date was...
Dominique by The Singing Nun
"Dominique went about simply,
a poor singing traveller.
On every road, in every place,
he talks only of the Good Lord,
he talks only of the Good Lord."
Heh. A fitting birth song.
Enjoy
your day, Fist!
