Hawkwind provided background music and interim music to the classic The Chronicles of Amber audio books read by Roger Zelazny himself! The first 5 books, I believe-they're awesome. 8)

Black Blade is a good song, and I think Moorcock wrote the lyrics to is.

There's also Stormbringer by Deep Purple.

Yup, Moorcock wrote Black Blade, as well as Veteran of the Psychic Wars and The Great Sun Jester. He wasn't directly involved with Deep Purple's Stormbringer, though from that angle, a ton of bands did music based on his work. (I used to run a site dedicated to such things.)
