How am I doing.....?

A wide range of emotions.
First, I'm happy-nay-exited that Luci is making a full recovery...alhough, I feel bad for her having to go through all that she is.

I'm also saddened over Loremaster's departure. He's obviously quite depressed, and cannot even find solstice here--does anybody ever talk to him outside of the Watch? Maybe someone should...I mean I realize that people come and go here, and even the people who have been here for a long amount of time can leave, and thats find...it's just his state of mind whn he left.
--hang in there buddy--wherever you go!!

I also have a mix of exitment and dread over the KW anthology..exitement because I'm actually writting-dread over the fact that I don't think I'm writting eneough and won't finish in time...that's more work related than anything...It's hard when you work 60 hours a week and have three kids (not to mention stuff that I need to do around the house) and the fact that the wife work opposite to me.

That brings me to another stop in the emotional rollercoaster...anxiety? or fear...I have an interview to drive a bus for the City of Halifax in a few wees...it's pretty much the top notch job for a driver around here: Great pay great benifits...no heavy lifting-don't get me wrong,I love courier work; it's pretty much the only thing I've ever done, but i'd sure enjoy the more laid back atmosphere--except that the hours are even worse than what I'm working now.
Financially, and long term...it's the way to go...short term...I don't know, Lis's still suffering from PPD-I don't know if I want to be out of the house any more than I am now.

Quite a few of us "talk" to him on MSN. I talk to him on the phone now and again (as done Elfy). He just needs a break. I'm sure that eventually he will come back refreshed and his old self.

Drew - good luck with the job interview, your wife's health, and your writing! 8)

And I am strongly hoping that when Loremaster returns he will be rested, relaxed, and very happy. :D He's a wonderful person, and deserves to feel all three. :) 8)

Luci's doing well. :D She's up and about a bit, and getting (understandably) sick of the whole hospital thing.

I bring a message of thanks to all the well-wishers on the Watch. 8)

She should be back among us soon - maybe even tomorrow!

HUGGLESSSSSSSSSSSS to Luci!!! |G

I didn't even know she was in the hospital!! To those who talk to her regularly, tell her she's been added to my prayers. :hearts:

Danlo, hope you get to feeling better too...your in my prayers always. :D

Drew...good luck!! Hope all turns out well with the job interview! :)

Well, after 3 surgeries and LOTS of chemo...my doctor has declared me cancer free. At least for now :) So, life is a bit brighter for me these days.

Fall is coming...holidays are right around the corner again. It's amazing how time just seems to go by quicker as you get older. There are so many moments I would love to just linger in, quiet ones...

I was rocking Meggie this morning, and I got to thinking about how happy I was when Brooke was born, seems like only a moment ago...she's 16 now, a beautiful young woman, and I don't know where all that time went. I feel like I missed some of it. That it went by while I was blinking. *Sigh* She'll be off to Berkeley before I know it...and Heidi will follow...and so on...and then Meggie will be starting college...

And I'll be rocking grand children...

dang...I just made myself feel really really old... :?
