Wow! Cryptic hints! I don't think any of those are to do with me though (especially the tidal wave).

I had a dream last night that Fist sent me a text stating that the results were posted.

ROFL!!!! I'm in for the occasional practical joke, but I wouldn't go that far! That would be way too cruel!

But I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my misery.

I'll admit to cheating regarding the orange dot for new posts here in the Pantheon.

I always look at the Index page first. Lately, several days go by with no sign of the AllFather in the past 24 hours. When that's the case, I know not to be expectant of cryptic hints when I open this thread.

Of course, when he has been on the Watch, and there are still no cryptic hints, then I totally emphasize with Balon...

Umm, despair here can be cut with a knife...

Anyway, an update.

I'm on holiday for the next week in preparation for the final sprint before my PhD dissertation. In other words, once I come back from the holidays, I'll be working non-stop until November, then go to Washington DC, then come back and work some more until the thesis defense.

What does this mean for Pantheon? Well, on one hand, I'll have less time to dedicate to turn processing, but on the other hand, I don't intend on going on hiatus or stopping the game altogether. So turns may be slow in coming, for which I apologize, but there really is no way of going faster (unless you volunteer to do experiments for me :P). Turn 8 is about 35% complete, and I hope to use the holiday to work on it; hopefully I should have it ready by the end of next week, maybe even earlier.

Sorry for the kinda disappointing news - I'll of course understand if any of you want to quit the game, but I hope you won't. Besides, things are just now getting interesting...

An idea of a time frame is highly appreciated, AllFather. My thanks.

I am glad we are continuing, regardless of the wait.

...uhm...

Since the turn is about 35% done, are there any more cryptic hints?
...even though I already regret having heard the last ones... ;)

:LOLS: Good one! Heh. Well, you know I'm in for the long haul. One turn per year? Sure. If you can stand my txts pestering you for updates, I can stand the pace. :D

and then there is the inexorable pull of Warcraft for those that want to continue battles, alliances, and fun!!!

PS: I can handle the pace too!! Good luck with the PhD work Xar!!!

I'm not quitting either. I have plenty of things to keep me busy in between turns. My MBA, a new baby on the way (I'm at six months already!!).

I can certainly sympathise, Xar, so take as long as you like. I don't intend to drop from the game, and don't mind waiting. Of course, things could change at some future stage.

For now, the coils of the serpent are manifold and warm enough so that he may scheme through hibernation.
