YES!

Oh, and Washington - I quite like High Treason too...

And here's something different from Megan Washington: www.youtube.com/watch?v=feO6pp44_hU&fea ... creen&NR=1

And Katie Noonan - her voice is just sublime: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pt-ivZP6Fzg&feature=related

Bugger it, double post!

Katie Noonan is one of my favourite performers. Listen to this and tell me you're unimpressed with her voice - damn, it's incredible! A special mention to 2:24 onwards...

Release

And if that didn't knock your socks off - stay dry eyed with this one!

Currently listening to lots of Rammstein as they released Made In Germany, their greatest hits album last week. I'm seeing them at the O2 arena in London in February (seen them before at the Sonisphere festival at Knebworth last year) and they are without a doubt one of the most impressive live acts I've ever seen. Flamethrowers, explosions, fireworks and more flamethrowers. Awesome stuff!

I saw Rammstein at the Big Day Out last year, and they were very entertaining! Great festival music.

You should try Good King Wenceslas, it's much better.

Come on now Sorus, sing along...

Good King Wenceslas looked out
On the feast of Stephen
When the snow lay round about
Deep and crisp and even....

ZOMG. You're my new best friend. I'll be waiting by the mailbox. Yes, I know it's Sunday. 8O

I've been trying to get the Australian members to send me a wombat for ages, but for some reason I hadn't been taken seriously until now. I would have accepted a poorly-trained one that gnawed holes in the drywall (all the better to move forward with my zombie-proofing plans anyway), but that just rocks.

Sunday Best is growing on me. The video didn't really grab me - I liked the concept, but the breaks and bonus sound effects detracted from the music. Found that I appreciate it a lot more after listening to it straight through a couple of times.
