So Lucimay's post has just made me cry... Bad Luci!!!

I don't wanna go but I have to go. I have to go back to my beloved SoS and do the mum thing. Sometimes it's not exactly the most glorious gig...but it's what I do and I wouldn't change that for the world....


We are back in San Fran and I've repacked my bag (excess baggage fee here I come!!!). All set for my flight at 10.40pm. Jenn has organised a car which is wonderful! Thanks Jenn!

Before I leave, I think I need to have a reflective moment (been having a lot of those recently but here's a public one...brace yourselves!!!):

I came here for many reasons, and I said to Lucimay last night that if I'd written a list I could cross off absolutely every single thing on that list. This has been a trip of a lifetime for me, and changed me for ever. I have "found" myself again, and all these questions I've had swimming around in my head for what seems to have been an eternity have been answered.

I'm at peace (which is kinda an amazing thing--if you knew me well you'd know that for so long I've been unsettled).

And that's about as personal as I'm going to get; except to thank everyone who was part of my journey. I don't know where to start expressing my gratitude;

And to my most dear Lucimay I have no words but I think you know...

Catch you on the flip-side everyone.

If it helps Sea, know that all of us who wish they could have been with you every step of the way, have taken a little bit of what you got.

Not jealousy, no that's too negative. Instead, I think we share a bit of the love you feel now, and will for some time.

That's okay though, 'cause there's a lot of it, and there are so many of us to share it with.

Aaaand that's pretty much it for Seafest. Sea's gone, I'm off tomorrow morning, and all shall return to the way it was. Except that a few people will be both a little sadder and a little happier...
