I love how you're always thinking of me, Jenn.

It was the paws, Ali. I saw the paws and imagined them with your hand knitted paw warmers of awesomeness and it clicked.

The fiend who filched these from Jötunheimr ought to apoligize to A. immediately, lest they wish to feel the wrathful seiðr of the ur-frost-lords.

Yeah, been around for a teeny tiny while thanks to some boardmembers. Mainly lurking for now, except apparently when the urge to post overly cute fluffballs takes over.

I have admitted that I have a soft spot for bobtailed kittens, and they should have known better than to tempt me like that.

Ha! A confession!
(That's a Scandinavian lynx kitty.

)
Now to figure out who snatched the seal, plus these owlies and the snow they were standing upon...

LOOK OUT KITTY!!!!
So, Av... about getting the animals back to your preserve. Danlo flies to SF, we fly to South Africa and meet up with Edge who borrows his friend's truck and massive construction winch. We drive out to your place in the dead of night and lift the critters back over the compound walls and leave you to wonder how that happened. Weren't you curious when that rhino showed back up a few weeks ago?

Looks to me like someone throwing a baby at a cat. Not that I am against throwing things at a cat. But babies are not the best choice, even when you do have a nice hardwood floor so that you can send them sliding along.

I don't hold much hope for the baby's continued survival if it does catch that kitten...
But that baby koala is teh cyootnez! <squees> (I know they're vicious little buggers in RL -- they're so cute, tho...)

wf - i had assummed the baby was self propelled? life is full of these little let downs.
ali - the koalas at the houston zoo were always stoned on th Eucalyptus . so we never saw them move. not sure they were real.
those babies were saved during an australian flood.
