TM5000 is my username on every forum I am a member of (except the secret pervy ones of course).
My initials are TM and I added 5000 to make it sound futuristic I think. A little bit like Powerman5000.
It was a move I made years ago when I had different usernames related to each board I was on. It got so I could not remember what name I had where, so I standardized myself.

Sounds very robotic.
Know what you mean though. I stick to the same 2 or 3 really.

I go by CHAOSBAD because Chaos is as cool as it sounds and when me and my son play YU-GI-OH I always use chaos sorcerer in my deck plus I like chaos theory - jurassic park etc. The bad part is because when I was growing up I played video games with friends and it always wanted a 3 letter abbreviation if you won, so I took BAD and my best friend was RAD and now my son is TAD ( his real name... how original... wink).

Balon was the first online name I chose for myself as a kid... I think it was for a chatroom probably.

Deer of the dawn is the translation of "Aijeleth Hashahar", the Hebrew title of Psalm 22, which Jesus quoted from as he hung on the cross.
The deer of the dawn is also said to be the ancient name of the morning star (which of course is actually the planet Venus).

Bump for Iolanthe.

Thanks again, Menolly. At the risk of gaining a reputation for doing everything twice........
Iolanthe was a character in the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta of the same name. She was banished to a pond for marrying a mortal. There were so many Chronicle names already on here and I didn't fancy looking through them all to see which hadn't been used, so I plumped for this one. I forgot to say that she was a fairy, but certainly not a soppy one.
