I think this state learned some hard lessons in all the fires last year. A certain amount of property damage will be inevitable, but hopefully fewer fatalities than last year.

Beautiful day today .. sunny, kinda warm .. been out and about today and just really pleasant ..

We had happy hour outside yesterday and tonight .. it was so mild.

Still very warm and sunny.

However there is a light breeze and a few cumulus puff clouds crossing the sky. I suspect the total mass retain is descending towards cooler climes. But not too soon, I hope.

Siberia hit -30 degrees. And Britain seems to be caught in it's slipstream. So yes, very cold here with occasional snow flurries.

And yet this afternoon while waiting for a hair cut the sunshine got warmer and warmer ... and warmer.
I might have gotten a little tan.
Even the barber commented that, "it is better on this side of the glass!"
