Wooohoo!! I feel great because my students who tested for first grade did really well. A few I was concerned about did better than I expected.

In fact, I'd love to come to the states again and hang out with people coz (among other things, including my yearning to just be there with you, and seeing other peeps), I think I've become a much better photographer and really want to shove my lens in peoples faces! LOL!
We should Skype sometime soon (although you're working now, right?). I'm pretty much available whenever (apart from "prayer sessions"

Amazon has free Kindle software for multiple devices. I don't have a Kindle either (BLASPHEMY!!!
), but I've got a Kindle reader on my home computer and one on my iPhone, too. In fact, I should download my story to my phone....

They did the exact same bloody thing to me. I was trying to take a 'vacation' day this week because they've been promising me for over a year that I could use my vacation time and it never works out. But I got the day approved, and they scheduled me to work late every other day to make up for it. The worst of it is that I
know they meant well, and even said that it was so I could save my vacation time for if I get my hours cut. I just wanted a little break, but I couldn't say anything because saying that I wanted less hours would Look Really Bad. So the day I'd asked for ended up not working out at the last minute because they threw a ton of work onto what's usually a maintenance day for me, and they offered me a different day off in exchange, but at that point I said 'Forget it, just give me back my regular schedule.' And that sucks because this month has been hell and having an extra day off was the only thing I had to look forward to.

I'd love to do a conference, but I think it costs extra. If I'm wrong, I'd love to do it. But we do have a camera so we can do sound and video. And it seems to work just fine.
