Not sure why, but I put on Alien Ant Farm's ANThology. I think I've only actually played the whole album through once or twice before, rather than having it just mixed in my random playlists.

Rush - Clockwork Angels
The lenses inside of me that paint the world black
The pools of poison, the scarlet mist, that spill over into rage
The things I’ve always been denied
An early promise that somehow died
A missing part of me that grows around me like a cage

Psychic TV - New sexuality from 1984. I saw them in 85 or 86, I think it was. It was oh so Thee Temple Ov.

Listening to Regina Spektor's What We saw From The Cheap Seats for the first time. Keep finding bits of the lyrics very familiar (one bit being obvious, since she was repeating the refrain from The Animals' Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, but others I can't place).

Listening to What We Saw From The Cheap Seats a second time. So far, I'm not really enjoying it as much as Far.
(Far I like, but find some of the more religious lyrics questionable. Her argument against atheism in "Laughing With" is trite and a tiny bit offensive. It took me a while to actually realise what the words in the chorus were, to be honest, but they make me uncomfortable.)

i like lots of stuff.

love their cover of Summer Breeze.
also very much like this...
Type O Negative - Paranoid
at times they remind me of stuff I was listening to as a teen : Sisters of Mercy, Peter Murphy, etc...

They did quite a few good covers, all in their own unique style. But their own stuff is even better - even though they're Yanks.
