Going to re-read Night of Knives by Ian C. Esselmont. I get the feeling all of the Malazan novels will require this.

Maybe not *require* it, but it's helpful. 8)

Third time's the charm, Fist...

I'm going to be traveling alone next week for Purim and the lap top is giving me issues with wireless connections. I'm thinking all I will pack with me is GotM, and if I can not get on to the Watch at all while I'm away, perhaps I'll finally settle down and read that gift of Luci's...

It's a bit slow for me over there! I did pop in for a while, last year.

Neal Stephenson's Quicksilver. This book is so full of stuff I'm more impressed every page by how he manages to keep it all together. Quickly becoming my fav author.

Right now I'm reading 'The Immortal Prince', the first book of the Tide Lords series.. Jennifer Fallon. And I'm really enjoying it! It's very humourous, has some fantastic perspectives and is a great light read.. Though to be honest, I don't even know what it's about, really.. But it's great fun so far!

"The Accidental Sorceror" by K.E. Mills. A friend loaned it to me. Gods, but it's horribly written. It's the first in a trilogy -- suffice it to say I may finish this one but I definitely won't be reading the others.

I love Neverness. I've read it a couple times, and wouldn't mind reading it again some time. I've only read the next three books once, but love them, too.

Just a director's commentary by the author: it's called Flat Earth, no The. ;) Enjoy. ;) In the spirit of my book:

Ken Nakati Wishes You
A Merry X-Mas !!

Don't worry. If I had to sort real and KW names I'd be confused too. But I'd certainly not put "Lord Foul" on the book cover (since it sounds like a bad comic book character, never mind the libel suit SRD would give me!).
