I'm surprised there haven't been any more entries for the contest--today's the deadline! I'm trying to finish mine off now; it's become quite a long piece (2300 words and counting!).

To put it simply, I suck at these things. I participated in the first two, because there was a pretty clear direction given. Even then, I'm obviously not a huge talent. (No, no, don't cry for me!! We all have strengths and weaknesses, and I accept my weaknesses.
) But with this entirely free stuff, I'm lost. *shrugs like Av*

Well, I got it done. Over 2900 words, in the end. And I like to think it's a very interesting idea for an event, heh. (Just think, a deity gets this, forgets to do anything about it, and half a continent gets swallowed. Heh. ...Now that I think of it, with the rate of expansion I gave, half a continent might be swallowed anyway!)

Oops. Sorry. That's mine. Jove was acting all bitchy, and I was trying to shut her the hell up. She's got all these gems lying around, and I cursed one and threw it at her. She ducked (she's quick, I'll give her that), and it crashed through the window. I meant to go get it, but, uh... Well, we made up, and I forgot.
