Of course it's not too late HLT.

And glad to hear it Lyr.
I'm annoyed...woke up to a flat tire, when I started to change it, turned out my spare was missing. Bloody panelbeaters left it out when they fixed my car...gods know if I'll ever get it back.
Probably have to fork out for a new wheel. Damnit.

Ah. . that's too bad, A. A new tire won't be cheap, either. I pay an extra fee so that if something goes wrong with my tires (within reason) they fix them for free. I already had them fix a hole. . . there was a screw in my front tire. How it got there I'll never know. . .
Anyway, I'll send good thoughts that it will all work out for you.

Feeling great. Got my math test back; made a 95. Apparently, I was one of the few. Of course, it was a freshman class, so they're always afraid to speak up or ask questions. Poor gits! Freshman year of college does seem to be the hardest. I remember having to drop biology back then. Just didn't understand the college method of study--especially after being a fifth year senior in high school. Certainly don't miss those days!

It was fun

Robin Hobb is very nice. I have a problem, though, with being too shy with some people. So while I was able to chat with other people there, when I went up to get my book signed I told her my name, asked her a silly question, and then basically loitered a bit listening to the conversation and then left... ahh well, it's not like she doesn't live around here, I'll have the chance to do it over again.
Anyway, I feel good today. It's a dark, cloudy, rainy morning. I love it so much, I've missed my Washington weather like... uh... someone who
really misses something. (Metaphors: not my forte.)

danlo, once a fool has decided something, nobody can convince him he's wrong.

I'm forced to go work out. Want to do it for me?
I feel good... mysterious throat virus is going away so I can swallow again. I love this school and a lot of the people here, and that's always good.
Really dreading swim practice in 45 minutes though... What the hell have I gotten myself into?

Hmm, lack of sleep seems to be somewhat of a theme here. I've got it, too.
Doing okay. I attended my last-ever Back to School Night for my kids last night. I finally get to finish 12th grade! Yay for me!
Batty's younger sister (we need a code name for her!) is stressing herself out, and it's spilling over onto me, a little. She's stage manager for the fall play and tryouts were this week; she's statistician for the varsity volleyball team, which had two home games *and* is hosting a tournament this week; she wants to switch AP English classes but the administration is giving her a hard time about it (I can see their point -- "I like the other teacher better" is not exactly a compelling reason...); and she's thinking of dropping AP Statistics and picking up AP Psychology, partly because she's behind on her Stats homework. Aieee. Hopefully this will all sort itself out shortly. I am already getting tired of the drama, and the school year is only four weeks old....

I have the flu, plus I'm feeling a bit tired and sad. Anyway, tonight I am having a game of Axis and Allies: Europe (playing Germany! yaay), so all is not bad.

Oh man . . . .that's so cool. Like the time I got Super Bombers (as Germany) and bombed the UK and Russian into oblivion.
The Axis rules.
