I don't really think that sticking a pencil through the zipper of his gimp mask could possibly slow down or add more errors to his current typing ability.

Yes, however we wouldn't want him choking on the pencil when we mention man-sized protrusions with cheese-filled meat sandwiches on top.

They make special attachments for parapalegics, so they can type with pencils. Kind of a big rubber nipple on the end of the pencil. I mean, sure... it tastes like a bicycle tire, but you can't accidentally swollow it.

I don't think mom tries very hard to protect him. More like kicking him under the bus to toughen him up.

Vyn seems to be pretty good about protecting himself, actually.
