...or at least put the cooler in the trunk. It wouldn't stop a determined bear, but it would've slowed the raccoon down.

Would have slowed us down too. The nearest trunk was about a third of a mile away. This was not car-camping; we packed our gear in-and-out from trailhead parking to the campsites.

I love Huggermugger. My mom got it at some point, and I always loved playing it at her house when I visited, but the last time I was there, she no longer had it. I recently found a copy of it in a thift store, and I'm a happy camper.
