That's a tough one mate!

I don't remember him mentioning the candles at all, but I'll take a guess at it:

Three.

Fine. It was 12 people. For the 12 kinds of mystery and madness.

He mentions it in the scene where he asks his audience if he should count the bricks in the wall for them, so clearly does he remember his last encounter with Vagel.

Ok, I'll try think of another question. :D

What does Stead say to Terisa that prompts her to go to Gereden.

"If you wanted him, you wouldn't be here alone in your room, you'd be in his" -- or something like that.

Edit: Found it, p. 148 of AMRT:
You came here with him. He worships every inch of you. If you thought of him as a man, you'd be in his room right now.

Close enough - although that was the explanation, I was thinking a few lines earlier than that, where he said that she didn't think of him as a man.

I wonder if you can answer this without looking? Not the line, but, at least, which character had the last line in AMOHDs?

Off the top of my head, it was Gereden, and I think he said "I did not kill my brother."

Also, wouldn't the abbreviation be TMOHD?

Thanks, haven't had my 6th cup of coffee! :P TMOHDs--I thought so too (it is Geraden in Master Eremis in Earnest, but it's not--I'm talking about the very end in Fratricide...

I'm on the road, so I don't have my books to go to. But if it wasn't Gereden's line, it had to be Lebbeck or Terisa.

Gereden says his line, then goes through the mirror. I was thinking that was the end, but it isn't - Lebbeck then comes in and says something to the effect of "You've done something so hideous that he can't protect you. You're mine." The only question I have is whether or not Terisa manages to get an "Oh $#!+" out after that.

Right you are! It's Lebbick. *echos of Lord Foul*

"Now," he said through his teeth. you are mine."
