I hope so...the radio said there was one up in the northwestern Detroit burbs, about an hour from here... :( :( :(

Just got home fine, we have power here, looking forward to a nice shower, some chamomile tea, and a good night's sleep. :)

I'm so happy, after a long winter, summer is here!

Great day at the beach! We had a nice warm day at the beach.
The water was a little bit cold but not cold enough to stop a bunch of kids teasing the waves :P

I love hot weather!!!

Woohoo, welcome SUMMER :S

I should have added that I am feeling slightly better today. I am able to get around enough to go to work. Still feeling a bit mischievious today also.... :S

I cleaned with bleach yesterday--and I must have got some in my eye, which is swollen and red and itchy and HURTS.

Other than that, I'm perky.

(As well as pink and fuzzy)

This slight dizziness is becoming a familiar sensation. I've had it on and off for a few days now.

Looking into schools with any sort of Environmental Engineering PhD program. Kind of overwhelming and depressing at the same time... If nothing else, it's making me feel very unaccomplished.-jay

Just started my last week at new job. Back to truck drivin' next week..it's starting to sink in now, so I'm finding it tough to concentrate on my job.

Sticky. When you leave your house at 7:30 am and walk approximately 16 steps to your car and break out in a sweat, it's just too damn hot.

Welcome to Alabama!

So very giddy. It's 3:20, I've had at least five cups of black tea, and I've been looking at wedding stuff (no, my Tallin and I aren't engaged yet, we've just been talking about it seriously for several months). I found some amazing Celtic wedding traditions I want to incorporate into our wedding, and the ring I want to get him (in white gold, of course ;) )

I watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets...had no idea just how funny that movie is.

I'm beyond tired. Way beyond.

I've decided I'm going to go outside in the rain, because I love rain. And I have to get my cellphone out of my car.

Maybe I'll watch some Firefly. SRD has dang good taste in TV shows: Joss Whedon really is amazing.
Not to mention funny as hell.

SO giddy.

Still haven't read the book *kicks herself very hard*
The movie is definitely within my top 5! (which position it holds depends on whether I've decided to count LOTR as one movie or three)
