i have a new account because i got tired of all the rude comments about my post count. so i have created this account and dropped out of mallorys (previously), the tank and the close. and i still get a few smart ass comments. i enjoy the thread a little less each day. i enjoy a many great people here, so i'll stay and post the few i do, until someone starts on about those.

Oh, do stop acting so wounded and hurt. People here have recieved much worse. I've apologised for my bahaviour towards you. (And I don't know about those who were rude about your post count have done) Something Jay and Syl said to me in a thread a long time ago

We all know that we occasionally rub each other up the wrong way, but we're usually good enough at getting over it once a bit of steam has been let off. I hope that remains true.

I totally hate to be the one to bump this thread back on topic, since I really do have the heart and soul of a threadjacker, but... I can't resist the urge to talk about myself. So, here we go!

My name is Mel, I'm 22ish and live near Seattle. I love this area so much and can't imagine living anywhere else. I work a lot but somehow find the time to satisfy all my interests.

I like: playing with cars, reading anything I can get my hands on, shaking my money maker at clubs, games (card, video/PC, tabletop, whatever) spending too much money on clothes, blogging via myspace (yeah, I know I'm a tool), reading other's blogs, talking about myself... um... and stuff. I'm a receptionist but a friend of mine is working with me to help me get into modeling. I think that would be a tad more exciting than answering the phone:

Me- "Thank you for calling *blah* this is Mel."
Them- "I'd like to speak to *blah*"
Me- "Sure, may I tell them who's calling?"
Them- "*random douchebag*"
(pressing appropriate button to connect to *Blah*)
"*Blah* you have a call from *random douchebag* on 101"

Rinse and repeat for nine and a half hours a day.
Not that I'm complaining! It's a job, and overtime is nice, cause it lets me buy things like engine swaps and turbos and springs (oh my!) for my car. Oh and comics. I love me my comics.

So, I suppose this is long enough. I swear I didn't mean to write yall a novel... I actually cut like three paragraphs out just now

I am a chem major in my sophomore year and I'm doing my best to keep up with my studies. (Its pretty hard not to want to have a quick peek into whats currently happening in the Land though- I dare say I just finished reading Runes the other day)

I really love TCoTC, even though I know everybody else here also does and thats just SUPBERB, cause its damn hard to come across anyone that knows TCoTC exist!

My other interests are music, politcs and enjoying nature.

Well, don't have much more to say at the mo.
